The Bleeding Heart, hand painted using watercolor and colored pencil, pays tribute to such a significant organ in our bodies. Splattered paint adds a slightly macabre touch for those of the darker persuasion, while keeping the piece tasteful.
It is painted on a Canson mixed media artboard that is roughly 8×10 inches.
